It's very risky to leave stuff to the assistant manager when your squad is small. He is just stupid, using exhausted players, getting everyone injuried and more often than not using players out of position. I suppose you have to first save your team morale. Go to training center and compliment all players that trained well this week (like over 8.0), then warn everyone that trained bad (under 6.2). Then, check the form for the last 5 matches and do the same, complimenting the form of anyone over 7.0 and warning anyone under 6.2. Finally, do the same for the last match, complimenting everyone over 8.0 and warning everyone under 6.2. That will make things slightly better, but you might also need a team talk, which will depend a lot on how your team is doing in the past 5 matches.
Next step is to check medical center for players with high fatigue. Anyone with high fatigue will perform worse, even if they are 100% condition. Either give them vacation or rest them from matches and training, if possible.
Other than that, when your team is overachieving, it's a good idea to give initial pep talks to say there is no pressure, followed by individual talk that you have faith on them. When weak teams overachieve, they very often get pressured and play worse, so you need to ease them up.

Yeah, there is nothing you can do when your team just refuses to hit the goal. It's actually a hidden mechanic to make sure people don't always win. When you are winning too much, players get complacent and some strikers can get into long goal droughs, even if they are Messi and CR7. It just can't be helped. Some hidden stats contribute to that, like Consistency and Important Matches.

I started with Laci in the Albanian league. Media prediction 6th. This tactic is giving great results. What I've noticed is that whenever I lose or draw, the opposition scores after the 80th minute while playing with instant result. Is there anything I can do to avoid that, like a match plan or something?
Edit: An amazing 25 match undefeated run allowed us to achieve the double, amazing performance of this tactic. Off to Andorra we go Expand
It's normal for this kind of tactic to concede by the end of the match. The reasons are the high intensity, which makes your players tired by the end, as well as complacency, since you are usually winning by the 80th minute mark and the team just relaxes. You need to counter that with pep talk, shouts and substitutions, as well as rotation to avoid fatigue (not to be confused with condition, you can see fatigue in the medical centre).

I've only went through each tactic and wrote down the PIs from every position so keep in mind that some tactics simply don't use a certain PI - for example they use neither Take More Risks or Take Fewer Risks, but this was done really quick for now, I'll work on the sheet more later and try to add those instances as well. It sucks because you need to download and open every single tactic, then check every single role, then note it down. It's like 11 times the work for team instructions, except that most stuff from team instructions you can see from the screenshot.
Against stronger teams, a good trick is to start the match with Cautious mentality, then change back to Positive or Very Attacking on the second half. It works because players from stronger teams crack down at half time when not winning, or get complacent when winning even by one goal. Then you can surprise them and snatch a win while their performance goes down. Against weaker teams, it's often better to just start with Very Attacking mentality. If you are also training Light Blue and Dark Blue, the change in mentality won't affect your tactical affinity.
ARE THE ABOVE MENTALS STILL THE APPROACH TO TAKE?
- Use Light Blue 3.0 when you have a comfortable lead. It's a tactic developed to concede less goals, receive less cards and save some energy, at the cost of less scoring opportunities. - If your only objective is to concede less goals, then change the mentality of Blue 3.0 to cautious, so it doesn't decrease your chance of winning. - Use Dark Blue 3.0 when you are desperate for goals. It's Blue 3.0 with very attacking mentality.
IS "DARK BLUE" BETTER THAN JUST CHANGING THE BLUE MENTALITY to VA? Expand
Dark Blue is Blue with Very Attacking mentality. If you don't train a tactic with Very Attacking mentality, then the tactical familiarity will drop if you just change mentality. That's why Dark Blue was uploaded.

That is just based on personality. Some players are more lazy while others are more hard workers. What they think is irrelevant, it just makes some of them build more or less unhapiness, which is countered by the happiness they gain during training sessions like match practice. I wouldn't worry about that.

No, I agree with you. It was tested here and it made no difference, so I just accept it. If it had any importance at all, there would be a difference in goals conceded or points per match, but it didn't seem to have much effect. I would rather have those points in speed instead.

About 'very Attacking' - use Zazz blue or Zazz Red? Expand
Away vs Elite you can start with cautious to hold the score, then change to Very Attacking in second half if not winning, when they will perform worse because of complacency or nervousness. About very attacking, it's with Blue tactic.
By the way, Blue with Much Higher Defensive Line can achieve better point per match and goal difference than normal defensive line, but it's also unstable and can achieve lower in both. If anyone wants to try and give me a second opinion, I would appreciate.

For DMs, I've had greater success with taller ones with good jumping reach. Obviously, I'm talking about a fast one, with good acceleration, pace and agility. They don't seem to benefit much of dribbling.
For CM and SS, jumping reach doesn't seem to have much effect, but vision and anticipation are always high in my players with best performance.
