I think this dude is Dyche like literally been bossing some old school 442 and now has reinvented to modern 325 in possesion stuff, nice.
Here same tactic but added both focus play on flanks coupled with stay wider PI of CM(A) helps much more with overloads, won the league with Torino i mean in game seems like amazing but ingame everything seems amazing even 45 score tactics.
Cleaned the PI now very simple PI, also added a interesint Stay wider PI on CM(A) not move into channels seems cleaner the attack little bit less collision in half spaces with the AF but lets see it.
Based on best tactic this year https://fm-arena.com/thread/8026-red-general-4231-v1-0/
Added distribute quickly TI and both IF(s) to attack with a F9 to see if can it work with a player making space for both IF.
Well done GJ amazing tactic, i am curious have you tried with 2 AF ? or 2 IF(S) interesting is that a support role striker apart from AF is meta gj.
Same as my highest rated 433 but just added change dm to support not defend seeing that the roam utd 433 had big success with it lets see.
The focus play doesn't work in this shape tried it also, would love the WB to be more proactive in final third and some WCB stuff working correctly but i think 352 is max 53-56 points in this ME after 1200 matches i think is impossible to get it 57-58 doubt it ever achieved that quote in any FM this shape in real life is base of a champions league finalist but in FM they nerf it
Couldn't survive the 2k matches but at least we are in HOF
Changed one CM s to a to try to variate the midfield still think the 2 CM a if superior but lets see if testing gives us some suprises.
Went back to this https://fm-arena.com/thread/7774-352-amaterasu-vi/ this time i changed to my 433 midfield combination of roles and PI so dm(d) and both cm(s) also removed few PI and added focus play down both flanks to improve the overloads similar to the 433, don't expect much from points but seems interesting
Readded the overlaps, this is a mix between two prev tests in terms of PI after this will see how it stands out mostly PI wise
Lets see if can it survive the 2400 matches but very nice the closest Klopp replication of 18-22 Liverpool didn't expect to work here in terms of meta points this much.
Many PI removal alot, also here i removed overlaps
TurtleKing said: There is for sure a difference, I noticed it clearly playing all night. When the IF sit narrower they move into the middle earlier, and the flanks are always open to attack for the wingbacks. I play a mix with the team instructions from this tactic, and most player instructions from Smile's tactic, and I'm on a 19 games winstreak and 32 unbeaten-streak.

Yeah but effective wise is the same i mean testing proves it, i have tens of stuff that i think work better when i tested my 352 here but testing showed otherwise, if(S) attack the middle alot always even without sit narrower maybe little bit earlier but won't make a big impact, for example playing with 3xBPD stay wider on outside defenders or not made very little impact both in game and in testing if zero, then it is subjective ofc.
Also i have won in game trophies and broke record with some weak 352 which scored 37 and 45 here, any tactic 50+ is game breaking ME, unless you edit managers in pregame editor and make them more meta there is little challenge match wise in FM especially us who test here who know the meta.
TurtleKing said: Are you sure it's all about PI making this tactic getting 63 points compared to your 62 points? I feel like a team instruction like passing into space is super important, and can make a difference. It can alone be those 3-4 more goals scored. Your deformation tactic has that instruction and scored 71 goals, while the hegemony 4-2-3-1 scored 63 goals. I do like the wingers play more narrow and wingbacks play more wide ingame. It makes up so much space for the wingbacks, while the box is crowded with attackers.

The sit narrower and Stay wider PI are so small the effect few meters nothing more, for example i expect to have AF(a) to play like IF(A) in position with stay wider PI in ME nothing like it barely a difference if any, so the stay wider PI for WB maybe there is no difference, same for IF
Eric said: The tactic has "Run At The Defense" TI which might add "Dribble More" PIs to all "eligible" positions in the tactic and WB(A) might be "eligible" position that get "Dribble More" PI from "Run At The Defense" TI.

So might not matter whether WB(A)s have "Dribble More" PI or not when there's "Run At The Defense" TI.

Bear in mind, that many PIs do the same work/replicate some TIs so if we don't know for sure how it works under the hood then we can't say anything for certain

Yeah but from my testing the score drops when i remove Dribble more from BPD even having the TI so it has an effect, maybe some roles do not get by default dunno, also IFB which has dribble less if having run at defence will he start to dribble i think nope cause PI in that case is hardcoded, but i think maybe it makes a little bit more running with the ball having the PI but could be totally wrong
Is interesting that the only tactics with very low PI, suprising Dribble more which is OP is missing in WB for example which didn't affect or stay wider another strong PI for Wingbacks really interesting to get from this this minimal PI stuff if it is better than loading 10s of PI in every role
Based on this https://fm-arena.com/thread/7899-roam-cm-utd/
Changed added focus play down both flanks, removed underlaps added overlaps, changed PI, and from support to defend the DM, the attacking play is great the IF movement in FM24 is insane been playing and testing 352 till now
Just changed DM to support to see which performs better.
Here i tried removing pass into space TI and higher tempo, seem more balanced maybe it suits this shape.
