Changes- Removed hold position from DM Removed mark specific position from PF Removed roam fron position from IF Added mark specific position Added focus play down right Added underlap left
Removed underlap and added overlap right, also removed focus play down right, reason for this was to play down the left giving time for the RB to bomb forward into space (Hopefully) as the opp defence has moved right to cover the play down the left.
Right DM is holding his position to cover the RB.
RB runs wide with the ball again to exploit the space whilst the LB cuts inside
Changes- Added hold up ball to IF Removed hold up ball from AM Added roam from position to AM Removed dribble more from FB Added whipped crosses Added play out of defence Added hit early crosses
AnilBahadir said: I think you are a good tactic maker, I have been trying ur tactics for a long time since Katana 4231 v3.1. Frankly, the best one was 4231 v3.1 109p. However, in order for your tactics to yield clear results, it would be more logical to pick a low-level team (Luton is a very good choice) and simulate it that way and share the results.
The squad dominance of the team you picked is already too high. This makes it difficult to see the result, and when the strong team is at the forefront, the shortcomings or strengths are not fully reflected.
By the way, I tried all the tactics in the hall of fame table, and during my trials with Luton during the holiday, I saw that those tactics were overrated. They are definitely not as good as they seem, and 3-way tactics never work as efficiently or as stable as 4-man systems.
Your 4231 v3.1 109p tactic was the best, but my attempts to reduce the number of goals conceded from it were always unsuccessful.
I hope you fix little issue. Expand
Thank you and I understand where you're coming from. The reason I use Man City is because the majority of the time player use an elite team and go on to create an elite team. I appreciate what you're saying but I've used "lower-level" teams in testing in the past and in my opinion the results didn't reflect the potential of the tactic. I'll have a look at maybe testing with a "Mid - Top" team like Villa. The thing with testing is you need a good solid all round squad.
I have to admit https://fm-arena.com/thread/10654-katana-4231-pos-100p-v1-39/ is one of my favourite tactics this year too. Unfortunately conceding goals is part and parcel of the tactic I'm afraid. I've messed around with it too much to be honest but to be more solid and concede less you literally have to concede attacking presence. Maybe try the mark specific position on the IF on the opp FBs and see how it gets on.
