I've just added the tactic which I mentioned in my OP for elite teams. I've only tested with PSG but will look to test with others. PSG won 38 in the league scoring 151 and conceding just 24. Mbappe top scored with 60 goals in all comps.

I bring you a 4321, high scoring as well as being solid in defence. It is an attacking 4231 tested with PSG, Villa and Fulham. Results are shown below. As always, AM is in charge of team training and team selection. I removed the individual training from AM as I found he was training the players in the wrong roles (Tactic uses IWB but he was training the full backs as CWB). no editors were used
PSG Won the treble, Scoring 166 goals and conceding just 18. Goals were nicely spread out throughout the team. PSG averaged 4.37 goals per game.
Mbappe scoring 79 goals in all comps. I know its Mbappe but still 79 goals in 51 games
Villa Finished 4th, 4 places above preseason prediction. Scoring 80 goals in the league (3rd best) and having the 5th best defence, conceding 44 goals.
Fulham Predicted 1st, finished 1st with 113 points. Got to the final of the FA cup losing out to Chelsea. Really disappointed with the run towards the end of the season. When Fulham had mathematically won the league, the AM decided to leave out some key players for the last 4 games, resulting in 4 straight defeats. Test could've finished with 125 points which would've meant just 13 points dropped in the league. Highest scorers in the league with 137 goals, 3rd best defence with 45 goals conceded. 8 goals conceded in the last 4 games resulted us losing the best defence, however still less than a goal a game conceded.
One thing to mention when using elite teams, you may benefit from switching the IWB to attack as the tactic seems to perform a little better, however the tactic didnt seem as solid with Fulham and Villa with the IWB on support
LaXatiif said: Sounds interesting ... would it then be advised to use the Positive mentality tactic on away/hard games? Playing with an underdog Expand
I've had more success with just sticking with the attacking version to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I've lost games but I don't think changing the mentality from attacking to positive will change the outcome of the game. I've also beaten some big teams away from home, the Villa test, I beat Liverpool and Chelsea away from home and drew with Man United and City away too

As I can’t read most of it , I don’t know what to think of this , it looks strong and catching the ME off guard with something Expand
Sorry my point was that it just seems that the Brighton squad had been frozen and players moved to the team for the purpose of playing those roles.
Testing leagues are equal, all teams will have fitness/morale frozen rather than just one. In this scenario, for me it creates an very unfair advantage and it proves nothing
I've made a tweak to original, as daft as it might sound I wanted to tighten it up a bit more at the back, so I went with an attacking mentality, added tackle harder to the fullbacks and DLP. I've only tested with PSG for now but when comparing the stats on the few runs I did, the defence is is conceding less whilst scoring has become more clinical, less shots but more goals
I will test this version with the other teams I use for testing and will post the results when done
I've also been using it on my Salzburg to Leipzig save and I won the the treble in my first season, knocked out of CL but had the group of death with PSG, Man City and Milan, but still managed to finish 3rd securing me a Europa League place, I then went on to win the Europa League. My players won quite a few accolades over the season, Wober won best player in Euro Cup and best Austrian player. Adeyami was injured for quite a few months but still managed to finish top scorer. (Sesko and Simic are beasts by the way).
I would like to share a tactic that I've been working on a for a few weeks, tweaking here there and everywhere. I wanted to replicate the Mongoose shape from FM21, a 41212. I feel I'm at a point with it now where I can share the results and tactic with you.
As always I tested with numerous teams, Liverpool, Villa, PSG and Swansea. I leave training and team selection to AM and holiday until the end of the season. 1st transfer window disabled and Director of football was in charge of transfers.
Below are the results from holiday testing.
Villa Quite a strong season with Villa, predicted 8th but finished 4th resulting in champions league qualification. Danny Ings top scored with 27 goals.
Liverpool Liverpool predicted 2nd, won the league along with the champions league and Carabao Cup, losing the FA Cup in the final. Mo Salah top scored with 80 goals!! Yes 80!!!
PSG PSG predicted 1st, finished 1st. Undefeated in the league. Won everything that PSG took part in. Mbappe top scored with 57 goals
Swansea Swansea are predicted 10th, won the championship, admittedly not as comfortable as I would've wanted but a wins a win. Obafemi top scored with 35 goals

I need to upgrade It might be worth then just creating 3 separate test saves, Elite, Mid and then underdog. By the sounds of it you should be whizz through the season and you're then not potentially not taking points off each of your test teams
cptdoggo said: Depends how much time I spend Alt+Tabbed. If I go grab a coffee and play with my cat while game is on the screen, like 15-20 minutes with starting, adding managers etc., if I browse the webs and check regularly more like 30-40. Expand
It takes 15 - 20 minutes including adding managers to run a 3 team test from start to finish?
cptdoggo said: Oh, yeah, that is def true, however I do this mostly because it takes sooo long to simulate a season. I might try doing 3 different leagues, 3 different teams, now that you mentioned this, as it has never occured to me how matches between them might influence the result.
Anyhow, I think V3 is a great underdog tactic, I'm on my 3rd underdog test and it looks very promising. Can't wait for the test Expand
That'll take even longer to be honest because the game will be processing more leagues and cup competitions, how long is it taking you to run a 3 team test?
I wouldn't suggest testing 3 teams in the same league as you're potentially taking 12 points away from the end result. Watford could've been sat in 10th on 56 points and Norwich potentially could've been 5th on 74 points and Arsenal could've potentially been 2nd on 86 points. It's just my opinion but I think you are potentially underselling the tactic by testing with 3 teams in the same league
Thanks mate, appreciate it

Yeah, I have loaded many tactics from FM21 onto FM22
What do you mean? I wouldn't be amending the tactics, just uploading them onto one thread for them to be tested
