Everyone seems to be raving about V2, to be fair it is very good
Hi,

Can you please test this tactic? Its a 4231 by Brommers1992 and it smashed the Kippa test.

Here is a link to the video on which the tactic was reviewed. Fantastic results

Thanks
Granny Poison WBsupp, a tweaked version of the original. Please see results below. (7 tests, all ran separately, editor used to become unsackable NOTHING ELSE!) As always, holiday tested with AM in charge of team selection and training **SPOILER ALERT - VILLA WON THE LEAGUE** I wanted to test Elite, Subtop and Underdog across different leagues so hopefully these results show that it can work across multiple leagues with different types of teams

Main Changes in V2,

Left FB changed to WB support with some PI changes

Tactic is still very strong defensively, Forest conceded 31 goals in 46 games.

Liverpool

PSG

Villa

A.Madrid

Forest

Atalanta

Dortmund
Dortmund Test completed. 91 points in the league. 11 points dropped. Ranked 1st for goals scored and conceded. Haaland 51 goals in all comps. Got the semi's of the UCL before being knocked out by A.Madrid. Defeated in the DFB-Pokal final and won the DFB-Supercup. So achieved a double, but didnt expect to get above 85 points in the league.

The teams general performance is above the league average

Tested with Liverpool, Villa and PSG. As always team selection and training left to AM. Editor only used to make Test Manager un-sackable during the holiday test.

Ill start with PSG as the test was unbelievable, 38 games, 36 wins, 2 draws, 0 defeats. 122 goals scored and just 5 conceded. Yes ONLY 5 CONCEDED. Conceded 17 in all competitions, 5 of which came away against Man United in the CL. All Cups PSG entered, they won. 30 games in all comps without conceding a goal. 47 clean sheets in all comps, 34 in the league.

Even managed to unlock a couple of achievements on steam too

Mbappe was top scorer with 38 from 55 games, contributed 17 assists too. From what I can see he was mostly played on the right wing.

The Liverpool was not as devastating but still impressive as they won all the trophies on offer just as did PSG, 96 points in the league with only 2 defeats. Ranked top for goals scored and conceded. Only 18 conceded in the league.

The Villa test proved that this tactic also works for underdogs, Villa are predicted 18th but managed to finish 4th. Only 1 point behind Man United in 3rd. Ollie Watkins scoring 36 goals. Villa were ranked 3rd for goals scored and 4th for goals conceded.

As you can see from the general performance screenshot, Villa out performed all the league averages which for a team who are predicted 18th, is very impressive.

I will run more tests as I normally do and show the results in the comments

As always, enjoy and feedback is always welcome

Come on now, don't be a tool. Not seen you comment when others have posted review videos in the other tactic threads
Zippo said: @CBP87, hi.

I just want to let you know that If you want the new version you uploaded were considered as a candidate for the testing then you should added it through the tactic upload manager

In case you don't then you can leave it as an attachment.

Thanks Zippo,

I have updated the post and added the tactic through the upload manager
An attacking version of The Confession 442. AM in charge of team selection and training. FRMTE used to make the test manager unsackable. That's it. Nothing else used. No freezing fitness or boosting morale. As you can see from the test results, it achieved some pretty remarkable results. 108 points with Liverpool, 114 points with PSG, all 389 league games won. 103 points with A.Madrid and a 3rd place for Villa. Top scorer in each test scored 40+ goals

Changes made -

Mentality to attacking

WB > FB on support duty
RPM > CM on attack duty

Removed
Pass into space
Be more expressive
Distribute to CBs and FBs

Added
Slightly shorter passing
Shoot on sight
Wide
Force opp outside
Get stuck in
Tighter marking

Results

Liverpool

Villa

PSG

A.Madrid

Dortmund
Just ran a quick test with PSG, I know I know its PSG and the French league is easy for them. Scored 140 and conceded just 16. Again holiday test, AM in charge of team selection and training. Won the Treble.
Holiday tested with Liverpool and Villa (separate tests). No FMRTE used. Team selection and training left to AM.

Liverpool won the league with 103 pts, losing only 1 game. Won the treble and reached the final of the other 2 cups. Salah scored 47 goals in all comps. Best attack and best defence in the league
.

Aston Villa finished 4th, predicted 18th. No cup finals, but lost a semi to Man City. Watkins top scorer with 28 goals in all comps.

One really good positive is that I think this tactic genuinely gets the best out of the players, I don't see I've seen green ratings like that before for an underdog team

As always, would love some feedback on how I can improve this.
ZaZ said: To be honest, with a good tactic, you will win everything with Messi, Dembele, Mbappe, CR7 or any player in that level. The tactic and team management has way more importance than 0.1% extra efficiency.

Aye, completely agree with that
Egraam said: You're comparing ratings from different positions. Winger, using @Mark's ratings is the easiest position to get high rating in because it's all about Pace and Acceleration which are basically the only two attributes that matter for that position (the next most important attribute is 4 times less important) - that's why Dembele is rated so high - that doesn't mean that he is 2nd best player in the game - just that he may be the 2nd best winger. You shouldn't really compare ratings between positions because the less attributes are needed for a certain position, the more likely it is a player will have a really high rating. Just use those ratings to compare players that play in the same position.

Obviously if you have unlimited budget then go for a player with the highest CA - but higher CA most of the time means more money and higher wages - that's also what those ratings are use for - you will be able to find players that overachieve their CA because they have their attribute points in the right places.

Lovely, Cheers @Egraam
Eric said: I have no idea who and why rated them like.

When I look at them I rate Messi higher than Dembele and I don't need any complicated tools to do that as I said for me everything is quite simple and no need to complicate simple things :)

I appreciate that and I am trying to keep it simple, it was just a case of trying to understand it a little better to help me make the correct decisions when it comes to buying players.

I'm of the sort opinion, Messi is miles better than Dembele, but according to the game using those ratings, he isnt
Eric said: Guys, if you'd ask me then you're being too geeky about it. :)

You really don't need that accuracy just use common sense.

The higher CA, the better. The more important attributes at the highest level, the better. It's really simple as that for me.

If that was the case then why is Dembele rated higher than Messi when his CA is less?
ZaZ said: Mbappe is the best player in FM21.

Appreciate that but he wasn't before I put the ratings from Mark in, Ronaldo and Messi were both mid 90 and now Messi is 83 and Ronaldo 86. Ousname Dembele is showing as the 2nd best player on the game

@Mark I've put your ratings into GS and some of the best players like Messi and Ronaldo ratings have dropped by approx 10%. Does that sound about right? the highest potential is Mbappe with 92.2%
Mark said: It is for current ability. It weights the attributes in relation to the position, with the higher weighting being the most important attribute.

Here is an example. Standard ratings on GS of my Central Defenders at St Albans

My ratings of the same Central Defenders

Not much between them in the standard one but wouldnt you definitely buy the top one in my ratings. They are ranked by the column on the left which is the DC current ability

That makes more sense to me, cheers pal
Mark said: I use Genie Scout - see my ratings for Genie Scout at this post:

https://fm-arena.com/find-comment/5071/

So use use all relevant attributes weighted.

Ill be honest, I've seen that post before but didn't really understand it.

Is it based around which attributes to train or will it help identify the players who the attributes above better?
Mark said: Here are my most important attributes by position

When looking for new players, do you use all of these attributes and do you include some of the key attributes for that said role?
Middleweight165 said: Sure, just curious how you got there

ah right, sorry mate misread your question. I went off this table https://fm-arena.com/table/9-player-attributes-importance/ with the lowest scoring one being the important, then I just filtered them through to what I thought was needed for each position. I then added other attributes to what I think is important for the roles I am currently using
