So use use all relevant attributes weighted.

Ill be honest, I've seen that post before but didn't really understand it.

Is it based around which attributes to train or will it help identify the players who the attributes above better?
Mark said: Here are my most important attributes by position

When looking for new players, do you use all of these attributes and do you include some of the key attributes for that said role?
Middleweight165 said: Sure, just curious how you got there

ah right, sorry mate misread your question. I went off this table https://fm-arena.com/table/9-player-attributes-importance/ with the lowest scoring one being the important, then I just filtered them through to what I thought was needed for each position. I then added other attributes to what I think is important for the roles I am currently using
Middleweight165 said: Is the list from top to bottom order in terms of priority?

No, but going off others peoples comments, I would prioritise Pace, Acceleration and Agility then filter the rest in when needed. That table was just to help me understand it a little better, could be wrong for all I know
Middleweight165 said: Where is this table from?

It's just something I put together to try and help me understand which attributes would suit each position
Something like this?
Rince said: Everyone has their own different testing approaches and Mark has his own approach. Why not just try it and see if it works for you.

I personally follow the fm-arena attributes table and always have a tremendous success in the game on any level.

Can I ask please what attributes you look at please for each position? Im struggling to understand the table

Sorry don't want you think I'm being lazy but I've got the following attributes to look for from the table and then I sort of filter the attributes depending on role

Pace
Acceleration
Agility
Dribbling
Balance
Vision
Anticipation
Jumping Reach
Decisions
Passing
Positioning
Ok so if I have extremely urgent pressing then the PI pressing mirrors that? Why would the pressing PI say standard when the pressing TI is standard but says less urgent when the pressing TI is extremely urgent?

I mean why would the PI preset show as less the higher the TI pressing intensity is? is that a bug?
Egraam said: Where did you get the number 9 from? If you're talking about the link name, it's not "9 important attributes", it's "important attributes" and then every site/thread on this website gets a number at the beggining, like for example the thread you have linked in the original post - https://fm-arena.com/thread/938-the-most-important-player-attributes-in-fm21/ - has 938 at the beginning.

I think he may be referring to this link https://fm-arena.com/table/9-player-attributes-importance/
its the link given in the opening post on the link in your quote
I don't know if this is the right thread to be posting this, if not then apologies.

Some roles have the PIs already preset and my question is will a TI overwrite this preset. For example, a winger on support has less urgent pressing when the TI pressing intensity is set to extremely urgent, will they winger press according to the TIs or his PIs preset?

Also I found that if I put the pressing intensity down to standard then the PI preset of the winger goes to standard, I can increase this to close down more and if I put the TI back to extremely urgent the PI remains if I click on the role but when I click edit instructions it shows less urgent. Not sure whether this is a bug
A 451 formation that achieved 104 pts and the quadruple with Liverpool. No FMRTE used or other editors. Training and team selection left to AM.

Just a little about the tactic, I have the regroup TI on as I wanted the players to be a solid defensive unit which are difficult to break down and I think that is evident with the 18 goals conceded in the league. I added close down more PI to each role and then increased the team instruction back to extremely urgent, not going to lie I'm not sure if the close down more instruction will still work if the extremely urgent team instruction is applied, however the reason I added it to the roles was because I wanted all players to press more and some of the roles selected don't allow it when the pressing intensity is set to extremely urgent. (Hope I made sense)

First off, sorry for bombarding the forum with tactics lately. I'm bored with all my saves and just seeing if I can create decent tactics or at least one very good tactic. Appreciate you testing them for me.

One thing I have struggled with this year is creating a 442 that works and from looking at other tactics I decided to stick with some familiar roles, mainly at the back with the 2 BPDs and 2 IWBs (If its not broke, don't fix it)

The tactic

The passing TI is set to standard, however I have set more direct passing across the midfield 4 as I wanted them to get the ball in the final third as quickly possible. I've gone with poachers as they sit on the shoulder and look to get in behind hence why the TI pass into space is used. I've conceded so many goals in my saves from through balls over the top, I wanted to get my own back on FM.

The test results

Won all cups but was a little gutted it didnt achieve over 100 points in the league (it doesn't help that Liverpool have 7 games in 15 days if they reach the FA and UCL final) As always it was a  holiday test. No FMRTE was used. Training and Team Selection left to AM.

Would love some feedback on the tactic, always looking to tweak and improve

Thanks

Please, add screenshots of the tactic.

Apologies, I have a screenshot of the tactic on the OP. Thanks
A 4132 that has performed very well in my real Madrid save (won the league 4 times and CL 3 times) and performed brilliantly in a quick Liverpool test.

It is very strong going forward and in defence.  Strikers seem to score for fun.

Took influence some of the tactics of the top of the table and around the analysis that has been done recently
