@Delicious's Attacking Corners
Zimsmula's Defensive Third Defending Throw-ins and Attacking DFK
@AideNGomiinaM's Attacking IFK
@CSTG KANE's Defending Corners and Defending DFK
Chou's Defending IFK

This would have to be tested to see if it has the best set of set pieces, but it's my best interpretation and attempt at it.

what do you do in terms of personel list? do you leave that to your assistant manager?
Sane said: Have you considered testing 2 BWM-S instead of 2 DM-S and SS instead of AM? Perhaps, BWM will provide a slightly better option? And also, have you thought about testing force opposition outside/inside and block crosses?

forcing opposition outside/inside doesn't seem to be working, well not in my tests anyways. It leaving them options blank always seem to produce better results defensively.

In regards to the BWM, I've not tried it but I'm not a big fan of roles where the players wander, so roles like BWM, RPM, BBM.

Ill test it and share the results with you
@Gianaa9

These are the ones I will be uploading tonight hopefully

Balanced -

Underlap -

Predicted, 17th

alex said: What about a defensive midf combo of bwm def with vol att? What do you guys think?

I personally think the double pivot of 2 DMs is better but give it a whirl and let us know how you get on
Milakus said: A quick test with Man Utd

Thanka for testing pal, a double with United, not bad at all
Markizio said: West Ham, predicted 10th

Holidaying till the end of the 1st season

Thanks for testing mate, very good result with West Ham
Gianaa9 said: @CBP87 are you thinking trying without "Dribble More" on FBs or combination with "Underlaps" instead of "Overlaps" or neither?
Last tweaks that make me wonder if 4231 could be improved anymore or not, thank you!

I've already done some more testing with balanced mentality and another with underlaps but can't upload them yet, will upload later today
tweaked version of https://fm-arena.com/thread/9024-katana-4231-100p-v3/

Changes -

Mentality to attacking

Gianaa9 said: This one could really work fine

I hope for a good score return, very good XGA. When I was thinking about it, it makes sense to add hold up ball to forward players where possible especially if you're playing overlap and underlap
tweaked version of this https://fm-arena.com/thread/8594-katana-4231-101p-v1-3/

Changes -

Added overlap left and right
Removed roam from position
Added hold ball up to IF/AM
Mentality changed to positive

I've taken inspiration from https://fm-arena.com/thread/8753-box-levante-x-pirate-2/ in terms of mentality and PIs

Tweaked version of this https://fm-arena.com/thread/8987-the-grim-reaper-451-97p-v1/

Removed focus play through middle
Mentality to Attacking
Added get further forward and move into channels on RCM
Added get further forward, move into channels and roam from position on LCM
Removed dribble more and run wide with ball on FBs

I agree, although when under human control the 451 has proven to be a real dominant tactic for me
A traditional 451 with a positive mentality.

The aim was to focus the play through the middle with the hope that our 3 central players will outnumber the opposition whilst waiting for the full backs to overlap increasing our numbers in attack.

As you can see from the results, Arsenal were our bogey team but it managed 97pts in the league.

As always, Haaland and Walker locked into position. Holiday tested.

Changes -

Mentality changed to positive
Removed step up more
Added drop off more

Ad adaption of a 433 so that the DM covers the space left by the CMa

Haaland and Walker locked into position, AM picked rest of team

MrGreen said: Looks great mate, will try with MUFC

Nice one pal, let us know how you get on
a 4231 with 3 CMs on attack duty, double pivot in DM is still very OP so stuck with that.

As always, Haaland and Walker locked in, rest of selection up to AM

A narrow 4231 that achieved 98 pts in the PL with City.

Won all but the CL where it finished runner up. As always Haaland and Walker put in place, rest of selection left to AM.

Hey @Mark Just to clarify, you've added set ZIMs set piece routine to katana? what did you do in regards to personel list etc please.

Good work as always
