Ahhh shit!! Forgot about that, will need to re do the holiday test. I normally show the fixtures for the CL games as the competition drops off the other screens when the final has been played
I've put together this 451, the idea was to create a tactic that was sound defensively (21 conceded in the league) but also very effective going forward (108 goals in the league) Haaland scored 84 goals playing as a DLF. The IFs are on support, the idea is that we create passing triangles on each flank using overlap left and right to hopefully create a then passing square.
Tested with City, with AM in charge of training. Starting 11 selected and holiday mode engaged. Quadruple won.

That's because the balanced mentality is working, people have tried positive, attacking and very attacking mentalities and they aren't as effective as balanced. Balanced tactics are just dominating this site but others too
Tactic is based on this one https://fm-arena.com/thread/3150-424-zone/ created by Delicious. I have tweaked it slightly and have been using it in my traveller save. It has been successful in Brazil, France and now England. I tested it with City and the results are below. Narrowly losing out in the UCL final as Dias got a red card which led to Juve scoring 90th and 92nd minute and also no cheat code Haaland
Main changes are - WB to IWB - IF to Winger - Low crosses to whipped

- French team might have better players than other teams
- The AI manager of French team might have better attributes than other AI managers
- if the league plays 100 matches and you test without using FMRTE then teams with a deep bench get an advantage so it might French team has 22 good players and other teams only 14-17 good players
- At the start the Team Cohesion of French team might be better than other teams have

The one constant I found when looking at the French team was the shape they used. The other variables are difficult to mimic because the team selection changes as well as some instructions and yes the French team may have better players but the shape was a constant, but FMRTE wasn't used so as you said team selection would vary. I'm aware of all the other factors but I can't duplicate what I can't see and bear in mind you don't have data hub or analyst reports at international level

Thanks for pointing that out, I never realised other factors could contribute to a teams success
I've been using the testing league that Will put together and some of the community are using. I noticed that France were always in the top 3 of my test results. So I looked at the shape they were using and it was a 3412. I decided to try my hand at putting together a 3412 using some of the key instructions from some of the top tactics on this site and finally I managed to get some success with this one, The Last Shadow.
The set pieces are my own, but as I said roles and TIs are based on the top tactics on here. So credit to those 3 creators.
As you can see, it went unbeaten in the league, winning 33 drawing 5 and losing 0, we conceded 1 goal out the last 50 games from a set piece. Unfortunately City crashed out of the UCL in the QF stage.
I've also included the score from my testing with Will's testing league, it scored a respectable 544, which I believe would put this in 2nd place in his testing (well 2nd for now)
The top 2 have been tested for 5760 matches, did the scores improve from the original score? Reason I ask is because if they did and another tactic scores higher than what they did originally but currently sits third in the table then that tactic won't get tested over 5760 matches will it?

I'm afraid I don't pal
Just make sure the determination is at a very good level, +15, otherwise you could get negative impacts from mentoring
Probably could have done with adding roll it out back in too
Changes made from https://fm-arena.com/find-comment/18117/
- Added overlap left/right
- Removed throw it long
- Added Get Stuck In
I have mixed up the shape of the last shadow with the majority of the TIs and SPs from @Delicious 343 Suplex to the wind tactic https://fm-arena.com/thread/3161-3atb-contest/
Changes made by me were
- Middle striker to AM
- Removed Overlap
- Roll it out to Throw it long
- Removed get stuck in
- French team might have better players than other teams
- The AI manager of French team might have better attributes than other AI managers

Spoiler What is Krabby Patty?
Changes from https://fm-arena.com/thread/3065-fm23-krabby-patty-v21-haaland-119-goals/ are that pretty much I've taken the TIs from the top ranked tactics on FM arena and implemented them into this 451.
A few postional changes
- WBs to CWB on support
- LCM to CM on attack
- IW to IF on attack
So credit must go to the creators of the top few tactics as I am using their TIs however SPs and player instructions are down to my choices
