Yeah no worries mate, so if I may use Mongoose as an example, it uses very attacking mentality with standard passing and standard width but with the ME update, these options are no longer available for very attacking mentality and have defaulted to slightly shorter passing and fairly narrow width meaning its a different tactic so to speak

I agree, in each of these tests, my CBs have scored considerably less than what they were scoring pre patch. In pretty much all my elite testing pre patch my CBs were double figures, no way near now

Our new database has a better set of AI formations/tactical settings than the old database has, also, we left only the most successful AI tactical settings so we don't waste time on testing against weak AI tactical settings.
Please note, it might be that some of the top tactics from our testing work slight better against 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 formations and some work slight better against 4-4-2/5-3-2/5-2-1-2 formations but you can be sure that all the tactics from the top are well-rounded tactics and you can rely on them in any environment.

To be honest, I don't there is any point in comparing the new results with the old ones, Zippo and the team have refined the test so its a different environment for both tests, plus the old ones were tested twice whilst the new table is testing 3 times. It's a difficult one and I don't really fully understand it myself yet
Pretty sure increasing his wage will help, if you go to renew his contract there might be some pointers on the screen which will help you secure a work permit, well there was last year
I bring to you all a 41311 (some inspiration has come from the revelation tactic by Zealot).
I have tested it with numerous teams and each team has done better than predicted. The tactic scores a lot of goals, as you can see below each team tested scored over 100 goals in all comps with PSG scoring 245 goals in all comps. This tactic will get your strikers scoring. This tactic is also very aggressive so expect yellows (I haven't tested it with tackle harder removed) NO EDITORS USED!!!
All my tests are holiday tests with the AM in charges of team selection and general training. Individual training is left as I found that the AM was training players in the wrong roles which was impact familiarity.
One thing I did do is input my own training under the rest tab, see below (I've been doing this in my saves the last few years, dont know why though) -
PSG Won the treble scoring 245 goals across all comps, Mbappe scoring 83 goals.
Bayern Bayern won the league comfortably, undefeated, 30 wins 4 draws. Won the treble, unfortunately lost out to Milan in the SF of the CL. The old man was on fire, scoring 78 goals.
Dortmund Predicted 2nd and finished 2nd, little disappointing as there were 2 defeats in the last 5 games which ultimately cost us the league but Bayern are really OP in the Bundesliga this year but still ran them very close. BVB scored 167 across all competitions with Haaland scoring 72.
Villa Villa predicted 8th, finished 2nd. Scoring 123 goals across all comps. Danny Ings top scoring with 33 goals which I think is still a pretty good achievement for a mid table team.
Celta Celta predicted 10th, finished 2nd. 106 goals scored across all comps with Aspas scoring 23, however Santi Mina was sold to United in January for £43m and he was already on 31 goals in all comps. Bit of a weird test to be honest though as Real Madrid won the league with 83 points with Barcelona finishing 8th.
Newcastle Predicted 10th, finished 5th with Callum Wilson scoring 52 goals in all comps. Team scored 105 goals in all comps so Wilson fell just short of scoring 50% of all of Newcastle's goals.
Man United Man United predicted 4th, finished 1st. Winning the Champions league and scoring 200 goals in all comps. The old man top scored with 66 goals. Liverpool was definitely the nemesis team, beat me in the FA Cup and Carabao but I got the last laugh knocking them out of the CLs. One result really stood out.
As I said, expect yellows. But I genuinely believe this tactic under human direction will work wonders for you. For playing saves I would recommend using this https://fm-arena.com/thread/1520-tactic-familiarity/ to get your players tactically familiarly as quickly as possible.

How will you get around the difference the update has made to the TIs for very attacking mentalities?
