Or maybe take fewer risks going to be a separate post

'Take Fewer Risks' is a separate PI and it requires testing separately.

When they both unselected it's the "OFF" result.

I've added the missing result.

At some point later we'll add a few more combinations.
@Tejash, I've removed some of your posts.

Please, refrain from making off topic comments. This thread is about Vujevic's tactics.

Thank you.

Hi,

Our testing server's been busy with testing tactical instructions, when we're done with them then we'll continue testing tactics as usual.

Cheers.

ZaZ said: I know it's hard to test all the options, but I have found in my experiments that 25% and 75% of some instructions are usually better than the middle or extremes. It happened in defensive line, and also in passing directness, even if it was very close that it might just be statistical noise. Anyway, I think it would be nice to test those middle grounds, but I understand if it's not possible.

You're right there's always a chance of 75% value is being better than 100% for some tactical instructions and if there's a strong sign that it might be the case then we'll also test 75% and 25% value.

For example, if we take the defensive line then its 0%, 50% and 100% values produce almost identical results so there's almost no chance of 25% and 75% values deliver anything different. Also, if we take the tempo then its 50% and 100% values produce almost identical result so there's almost no chance of 75% value delivers anything different.
dzek said: @Zippo can you explain us a little bit further this test? I mean with "No Specific Distribution" you untick/disable "Distribute To Centre Backs" and "Roll It Out" and stick only with "Play Out Of Defence"?

"No Specific Distribution" means all three tactical instructions were unticked/disabled.

RonaldoWeah said: Sorry for misunderstanding, i thought you've just tried 4-2-3-1 according to tactical screen of your first post. Details can become more valuable sometimes, thank you for your detailed reply.

There's about a thousand possible formations in the game, it would take forever (literally :) ) to test them all. We just tested few additional formations to see if the results have the same pattern and it was almost the same.
RonaldoWeah said: Thanks for your great job, but i still think different formations can have different effects on different mentalities. It shouldn't be same as attributes, otherwise all maths in FM become rubbish.

I can say that we've tested few different formations ( 4-4-2, 5-3-2 ) and also, some other roles and duties to see if there's any difference but the pattern was the same.

Of course, there might a small difference but as said the pattern is almost the same.
I've added the missing results for 'Defensive' and 'Cautious' mentalities.
dzek said: @Zippo, when we will have "Defensive" and "Cautious" results? Such outstanding tests. Thank you for your time! We really appreciate!

Soon. :)
tom100000000000 said: That’s very surprising to me.

Yup, there's a lot of tactical instructions that almost do nothing.

When you see that many different tactic instructions you get the impression that the game is very complicated and deep but in reality most of them almost do nothing. :)
