My team just got promoted to the elite from Sweden and finally became professional. I can finally pay more than minimum wage to my players, since I have a rule to never spend more money than I received in the previous year, including staff, so I never go negative on finances.
kireby said: Blue 2.0, buddy And yes, it's very consistent. Even if we don't win, we have 1,3+ xG when opposition have below 1 xG. And in these cases i blame either weak defense/GK or attack. But i met this kind of cases only in few games like game vs Akhmat. Even vs Spartak we had 1.5 xG or smth like this when they had 0.8 xG Expand
It can't be helped. I like to play in lower leagues, like the last division from Sweden, England or Brazil, then bring a semi-amateur team to the elite. The players are usually in the level of grey players, with the star from the team having a couple of 11 or 12. It really hurts to see how many goals they lose for being incompetent. If you run this with the likes of Liverpool, I doubt you can make less than 3 goals per match and not get over 100 points in the league, as well as winning all cups. Gonna run a couple of holiday tests with Liverpool just to show the results.

He is one of the 3 best goalscorers with 20 goals and the best assistant with 16 assists (2nd place is my player too). But we got smashed in UCL, but bookmakers odds were 10001.00, so we underdogs there. And last word, look at my GK and we conceded only 29 goals in 34 games. Expand
This tactic is very consistent, as you can see by the best Goal Difference in the table. Are you testing basic Blue or 2.0? I think 2.0 is even better, too bad it didn't get picked for tests here. In healmuth's test, it proved really strong for underdog teams.
Check the tactics that score more from corner. If you want a better measure, get the one that score the most divided by number of goals. More offensive tactics will have more corners and therefore more goals from corner, even if their set pieces are not the best.
I did a final change to Blue 2.0, setting passing directness to neutral (I left the direct passing to Phoenix, since they are already too similar). with Blue 2.0 and Red 2.0, I will only try to make new tactics or improvements in the next patch. Please, test and tell me what you think.

Is it happening on the shadow strikers or other positions? With me, I usually get between one to two red cards a season, which isn't unexpected for any tactic.

Thank you for the suggestion. Too bad it's too small of a change to show much difference on my tests. They won't test it here either since it would be almost the same, so I will never know if it's better or not.

What can we do about the general training and individual training? Do we let the assistant manager to take care of them or do we do somethig else? Expand
I like to train Match Practice twice a week, as well as Teamwork, Defensive Shape and Attacking Movement before every match. If I only have one match in the week, I also add one Physical. Before important matches, I set one session for Set Piece Delivery and if possible, Attacking Corners and Attacking Free Kick. The rest is flexible, but I like to set Recovery after every match for injury prevention and Team Bonding for squad happiness.
This is another "just for fun" tactic, trying to explore absurd possibilities. It is named Seraph because it has six wings. Not only it won the Premier League in holiday mode, but also the Champions League.
and what version on phoenix do you use or which one gave you the best results?
thx Expand
The top three tactics are equally good, that's why they are all grade 7.0. The difference between them might very well be statistical noise, since none of them was better in all three tests than the other two tactics. Maybe with a couple more tests, the order would even change.
@healmuth, when you have spare time, can you test team instructions work ball into box vs. Hit early crosses vs. None? They are giving me very similar results, which makes me wonder if they make any difference at all. Actually, I am getting slightly better with early crosses, scoring more goals. (I am testing on blue strategy, without any other changes)
I hope this performs well. I also started using Roll It Out because my goalkeeper conceded a couple of goals kicking in the back of opponent and hitting it's own target (with extremely weak team).

Try Red 2.0 later. It's looking really good.
Not really, but I would only put Shoot More Often if I had a good shooter. Did it work well for you?
Probably some players with bad hidden stats, like Dirtness, or just bad luck. Thank you for trying to help, anyway.
