and what version on phoenix do you use or which one gave you the best results?
thx Expand
The top three tactics are equally good, that's why they are all grade 7.0. The difference between them might very well be statistical noise, since none of them was better in all three tests than the other two tactics. Maybe with a couple more tests, the order would even change.
@healmuth, when you have spare time, can you test team instructions work ball into box vs. Hit early crosses vs. None? They are giving me very similar results, which makes me wonder if they make any difference at all. Actually, I am getting slightly better with early crosses, scoring more goals. (I am testing on blue strategy, without any other changes)
I hope this performs well. I also started using Roll It Out because my goalkeeper conceded a couple of goals kicking in the back of opponent and hitting it's own target (with extremely weak team).

I am pretty satisfied with what I accomplished this patch. Blue is one of the top tactics while Phoenix is a tweak of Red. In the end, I feel like I contributed somehow, but the greatest contribution this patch was @Cyborg with his strikerless Doom. I feel like he deserves more recognition.
Not sure if you people know, but I can't register or use most of the site content on Edge, even without Ad-blocker. I assume it is because of the Ad-blocker that is built-in, but I am not sure if more people experience the same issue. I use the phone to post here since Edge doesn't work.
I know I said I gave up on this patch, but I have decided to try some crazy ideas just for fun. This one is a true strikerless. Probably sucks, but someone has to try it anyway.
Funny enough, it won the league in holiday mode without a single loss.
The results are worse than expected, despite looking better in my tests and healmuth's. Good thing I have decided to only try new tactics next patch, because it really seems like the best tactic right now is tied to that play style from the three first positions in the table. I really wanted to see different variations that could be used depending on player abilities, but I have no clue what to try anymore. I hope next patch allows some variations with similar results.

I guess he means those teams will win everything as long as you don't get in the way or play without goalkeeper. It's like those tactics with 3.0 or less that comes in a post "Quadruple with Real Madrid". Fun to play, but nothing to be overexcited.

When I see any tactic with forwards, AML/AMR, IW or without IWB, I already know it's subpar. I kinda hope to see a good one anytime, but it's hard to be optimistic in this patch. I am really happy Cyan worked well, because I would go crazy if I had to watch one more match with Blue, Phoenix or Voila, which all play the same way in practice.

Nice! The interesting about this tactic is the way the wingers move in the game. Sometimes they have space to run to the byline, but the prefer to stop and look for a player moving into channels for a through pass. In the end, it is like an underlap, but with the shadow strikers instead of wingbacks. The game ends up flowing mostly through the middle.

Just started my game with an amateur team from Sweden. I want to reach UCL in 4 seasons and win it after 2 or 3 years in the elite. Then I move to lowest division in England or Brazil.
Need people to test this. In my tests as well as healmuth's, it performs better than Blue . However, it probably won't be scheduled for testing since they already tested a couple of my tactics in 41320 shape. Need people to confirm it is good for it to be tested and go to the table.
In the meantime, I'll take a break of making strategies and focus on just playing for a while.
I disagree with the half time tips. It's better to have happy players than stressed players. In my experience, I prefer to compliment them as long as the team is winning. If not winning, I usually tell they are awful and they usually get motivated and turn things around.
I have updated the main post and deleted the tactics that were being tested by @healmuth so people don't get confused. In the end, I settled with Cross Less Often From Deep.
Blue or Phoenix?

It was nothing special in the test, but enough to beat all tactics that use real forwards.

Anything new or just small tweaks?

"Invincible tactic, 104 pts with Liverpool!"
Quick run with Lazio. Won C1 Cup and Seria A
