Thanks

FMRTE is the answer
ZaZ said: I never touched FM touch. Does it use the same match engine?

Yes It's the same. But with less other function like interacting with players, setup details training like the full FM Version. FM Touch is like older FM version but with latest match engine and data updates.

TLDR:
- FM Touch only available on Switch
- On other platform such as PC, It will be called Xbox Version
CBP87 said: In my opinion, what you're experiencing is normal. You can't compare a tactic from FM13 to a tactic from this year. The ME is different. Gone are the days of plug and play tactics. Micro management from game to game is key. Reputation plays a key role in the game nowadays.

1st season you smashed it using the tactic, your teams reputation no doubt jumped up significantly, this in turn means teams will be more cautious against you, even the elite teams would become more cautious of you. I get it you improved the team but you've also got to make smart changes to the tactic. If your reputation is high then the likelihood is that teams will sit and defend narrow against you, restricting the space, maybe play a little wider to pull them out of position. reduce your line of engagement, allowing defenders to come out with the ball, leaving space for you to exploit if you win the ball back.

Now I know you're an experienced FMer like myself (been playing since CM 01/02) but the game has changed massively since the plug and play days, only factor that can make tactic's consistent is us

Idk but personally I felt like losing is a way for me to keep playing the game. You wouldn't want to keep winning and winning over and over again cause It will be very boring.
Mark said: I use the ratings in Genie Scout that I came up with out of that data. See the post below:

Another way to do it is to take the most important attributes for each position you are using and find the average and best for those attributes in the league you are playing. The filter average as a minimum but look for the higher end if you can afford it, especially for the attribute with the most impact.

I hope this helps

I do use this to buy players. For people who want to use this but in a shorter version, checkout this comment by @Mark https://fm-arena.com/find-comment/5066/
LPCrooks said: That is your argument, that there are worse tactics? According to this ranking, yes. But I'll tell you something, in FM13 there was a ranking of tactics similar to the one made by Mr Hough, and in that ranking there was a tactic created by a certain "Qetesh". It was neither in the top 10 in FMBase, nor was it in the top 20 in voting in FMKorea... but it turns out it was one of the best FM13 tactics, for me the best. The good thing about Qetesh was that he played 2 full seasons, without simulating games or going on vacation, and then he shared the tactics and the results... In short, I do not criticize the tactics, in fact, I have thanked the author for his effort and for sharing it. I have played 2 full seasons, I have shared the results and I have concluded that I am not convinced. I HAVE GIVEN MY OPINION. So much is it difficult for you to respect that? Or do I have to lie if I didn't like it?

Can you upload your save to GG Drive, Mediafire or something like that? I want to have a look and will try to fix it.
Blue (by @ZaZ ) Tweaked. Its a mix between Blue and Voila
Changes:
- Shape
- CM(A) → RPM(Su) (With PIs added)
- DPS(Su)→ Vol(A) (With PIs added)

well this going to be interesting :D

Like FM21 beta, lots of goal to attract player xD
ZaZ said: Thank you and congratulations! I hope you can win the UCL this season.

About training, I added my training schedules more because people asked, but I didn't do any experiment with training to know what's more effective, and I don't have any more knowledge about it than other players. I just use what I think makes sense to improve cohesion, give match bonuses, train speed attributes and give happiness, which I think are the most important things about training.

When I use those schedules, I rarely get many injuries. I mean, it's common to get short injuries of two or three days, and maybe have one or two players in longer injuries, but it never caused me trouble during the season. The In-Season schedule is actually pretty light, it shouldn't cause many more injuries than training from assistant manager. Maybe you got unlucky, or maybe your team has high injury proneness.

Actually I think FM 21 does has a lot of injuries. Sometime I got player got injury from spriting. :facepalm
As @ZaZ suggested, I would love to see how assymetric Blue would do with an playmaker help connect CM and SS together. And as you can see both CM and SS score a lots.
Test Result:

Changes:
1 SS(A) → AP(A) (with PIs added)
Formation change to assysmetric
@ZaZ I think change 1 SS to AP maybe could improve the tactic a a little bit
Kyle said: Obviously a lot of the tactics on here are designed to get the most out of set generated players in a plug and play style, but my question is would that still be the case when you've got players with different abilities etc? For example, if someone is rated as a 4 star WB but only a 2 star IWB would you still get better results playing them as an IWB? Is it case by case? Do some positions perform better and some are fine to interchange?
Buy the play base on this comment. For example if I wanna buy an AMC I would look for: Acc, Agility and Pace. The rest attributes doesn't seem to matter

CBP87 said: Sorry don't mean to burst your bubble but this shape and roles has already been done https://fm-arena.com/thread/1542-waves-v2-af-tweak/#comment-6885 tweaked version of Waves v2
Yeah mate don't worry. This was base on V3. If It was tested before then I'm sorry
Cause BPD seem like to work better than CD
Prior to the success of the Strikerless version. I would love to see how the Striker version will do in the test.
Changes:
DW(S) → W(S)
SS(A) → AF(A)
Test Result with Man.Utd
All credit to @Egraam
Tweak Waves v3 by @Egraam. This tactic setup the role pretty much same to Blue cause It's seem like DW and BPD work better in strikerless tactic.
Tested with Bayer04 with only 1 loan in January.
Changes:
- CD(C) → BPD(D)
- W(S) → DW(S)

Keshk said: bro how u can show their Pot abilities ?
and ur skin name please.

@ZaZ Btw i tried many tactics but urs still the best! although i wished if it has one striker at least

I have In-game Editor. The skin name is FM-Nation Skin.
You can move 1 SS to Striker, didn't affected the tactic very much in my opinion.
Maybe @Zippo should considered test Waves v2 or v3 cause maybe It will cause some change to top 3 in leaderboard
New save with Schalke04 - Predicted 15th - Waves v3
ZaZ said: Congratulations! Did you get relegated the other season, or you survived and then won?

About the best player, I would totally buy him. I usually have a rule to try and improve at least 10% of my team every year. However, if there is an extremely good player that I know will stay in the team until he retires (can't ever find many better than him), then I would make the sacrifice.

No we didn't survived that season, got reglated and come back again.
I did buy him and till now he did very well. It's been a long time since a see a player with 200 PA
