Mark
Dragons Den seems to be better than Dragons Breathe from my testing. I am hoping it is a step up on FM Arena. Seems to be defensively more solid. Details in the opening post

I have tried using ykykyky and my MDW ratings and both seem to still be producing good results. So the answer to your question is yes.

Thanks. Getting late here. I will fix shortly

Like I said, I did tweak them a fair bit and goals from corners were 2nd in the EPL so I am happy with that
I have been working on updating some of my older tactics from FM21 and FM22 to get them working in FM23. Spent a lot of time looking at the Tactical Instruction Testing, ZaZs development of tactics over the last few years, and how the top tactics are evolving. A lot of inspiration comes from our current few leaders including Corsair, Xmas and World of the Best. Set pieces were based on Xmas but I have made quite a few positional changes. I went through a lot of testing and then changed 2 to 3 things at a time until I started to make progress.

Dragons Breathe

Anyhow, thanks to everyone on the forums especially those mentioned above. I tested with Man City and Bournemouth. There was a small slump at the end of the season which cost me getting to 100 points and also lost the UCL semi to Spurs. Got the FA Cup and only 3 losses all season in EPL.

Please let me know your thoughts especially if you test it.

Dragons Den

Changed formation from Dragons Breathe and I have aligned with my old Dragons Den tactic from FM22 ie 4-1-3-1-1.

Changes:

STCR to AM SS At
DC BPB removed PI Dribble More Often and Shoot Less Often
PI Tackle Harder added to all players

Here are my tests

Not much between Earth and Fire. Wind not so good.
ZaZ said: Earth 2.0 is up.

Which do you recommend I try first out of your 4 new tactics?
Is this the most improved tactic after the ME changes?
And most goals against by a clear margin of 16 goals per season.

Delicious said: We never know, the flow might change!

That is true. And we certainly need something other than 4-2-4 to start challenging
Delicious said: i like that shape :P

Seems unlikely to work given that the only tactic tested without a DM scored just 35. Just an observation
gameresq said: I've been having an enormous success with this tactic, but I'm not sure about the training. There is no recovery or rest after any game, and sometimes there are a lot of game in a row. I notice players getting very tired even when there is 3-4 days of time among matches

Read the opening post and the boy on training. You need to set players to rest after games until they get back to normal

Middleweight165 said: @Mark Do you think your filters and the research done by the Chinese forum is applicable to FM21. I've just loaded up the game and was wondering

Pretty confident it would be. But I haven't tested it. Still to do the tests for FM23 as well
@Droid you are doing a fabulous job in steering the people who aren't paying attention in the right direction. Well done.
Blue 4.0 from last year seemed to test alright on FMBase under this ME
Enok said: Can I use them also for my U20 and U 18 team?

I do.
I thought this was interesting

MaceyP said: Hey Mark, First of as this is my first post I want to say Hi. I feel like a naughty spy having followed this whole thread through FM22 but never created an Account.

I've just started playing FM 23 and fancied a lower team in Premier League or maybe lower league. I decided to give this a shot. I love how you've taken weights of 50+ from ykykyk and divided them by CA Cost. I decided to implement them into FM Lineup Tool even though its not updated anymore as a quick Rating guide and will use the ingame Filters also.

Looking forward to giving it a go.

Welcome to the forum as a contributor. I am interested how it plays out, please give an update on what you found
saycarramrod said: @Mark Do you plan on doing any GS rating updates with the FM23 attribute tests? Seems they are a bit different than previous years, although largely still in line of course.

I will probably have a look when they are finished and when the next update comes out.
