letsgo9 said: I think 4222 is a very specific shape, some stuff can work only on it... lets keep testing it anyway lol Expand That's what I'm doing at the moment and then I'm going to start trying new shapes and to be honest I've already tried some other shapes but I'm at an early stage
letsgo9 said: @dzek Do you think that is possible to say that run at defense is slowing us down? Dont seems to make sense in the 4222, only for the wing backs Expand Because I've been racking my brain with this instruction (and some others too) on how exactly it works under the hood of the ME and I've also heard many different opinions, I found one interesting and thought I'd give it a try. It seems so far to not affect the score negatively. I don't think it slows the team down but maybe it's the opposite.
Now it's Pass Into Space's turn although I'm not quite finished with Run At Defense. I still have 2 more tests left ( I think so )
letsgo9 said: @dzek have u tried with bring ball out of defense TI? Expand Yes, I tried it in my own test league (and here too - links below) and it seems to slow down the build up and invite more pressure on the defence and with ME poor defensive positioning and some other defensive bugs it would just concede more goals so I concluded that until now it cannot be used.
letsgo9 said: both of them are just a square relocation of deformation of these positions I refered Expand ohh I thought the change was from your previous version.
Chris said: Did you just calculated it? Or I can just check it in this page? @dzek Wow, the difference is awesome hahaha Expand I calculated them on my own. Each run of a test the player-controlled teams play a total of 400 matches.
The formula is as follows: (Team A points + Team B points + Team C points + Team D points + Team E points) / 400 = PPG Then if you want to find the translated score ( the one that we all see on FM-Arena's table ) you just do PPG * 38.
FM-Arena's staff does the same to get the scores - then translates them into 38 matches which most leagues have so the scale of scores are 0 - 114 in the table. It's something I don't really agree with because there are leagues with fewer/more games per season and my suggestion was just to display the PPG, which is the average, or to translate the PPG to a scale of 0 - 100.
Chris said: Do you know why this tactic is in the hall of fame instead of 4231 Death Star? Both have same score but the other one has +1 at GD. Expand Your tactic produced 1,586 PPG and the other 1,585. So the difference is 0,08%
