Well, 5.3 against 5.4 from high intensity. It seems like ball retention is still a valid game this patch.

Testing now in the shape of Blue, with DLP+CM, since it seems to work better for high intensity.
So, DM+CM (default) > CM+AM > DM+AM, for Blue.

Cyan is my attempt of possession based football. I have yet to see a single tactic with high possession do well, but I think this one might just do it. I don't know if it will be better or worse than the top, but it will definitely allow you to overachieve while watching short passing football.






Player instructions, set pieces and all other details are the same as Blue from FM21.

Added a version with Ease Off Tackles instead of Tackle Harder as player instructions. Results of that version are below.

Also, jumping reach seems to have the same importance now as last patch, which means corners are not the cause for the performance blow.
Agility less important now, probably because of the new animation system.

I always said that any tactic with score 6+ will allow you to overachieve. It's just that the previous editions had good tactics, and godly ones. This one doesn't have godly tactics yet.

Freezing morale and fitness is good if you do the same to all teams. If you only do to your own team, then it just creates an unfair advantage. I'm just commenting, don't know what the author did.

I tried DLP as DM too and it performed as well as RPM, so I decided to keep RPM to make the versions more different. About protection to CBs, I gave up on that long time ago when I noticed the current match engine favors attack over defense.

Viable, yes, but I don't think the most effective tactic available will have high possession.
