Could it be being impacted by the cross from byline instruction? IMO the defensive line being higher leaves space in behind and if you're full backs are further up the field then you're more susceptible to a fast counter, especially with a ball over the top or to the flanks but with that much lower defenisve line at least that space isn't really there
Thedog89 said: So you use Haaland on the AMC position? And no matter team you use a pure striker on that position even though they might never get fully adapted or not even close to being natural on the AMC position?
I tried similar tactics but always went for an AMC player, but they often lack really good shooting (15/16+) and physic. So i feel like i get to easy locked down in some matches if i have two small/avg wingers and an AMC/playmaker type in the middle? Expand
I have only ever used a striker in the SS role, in my Porto save, I played Samu Aghehowa there and it took him about 6-7 months playing in that role before he became AMC/ST, you could add role training, but I didn't bother, I just played him there from the off, he was 2 star rated at the start and by February he was 5 stars in that role. He scored 55 goals in 37 appearances in all comps
Alexandru said: I have a question about instructions, as maybe console version differs a bit. Here you put "move into channels" for CHM. I can see on PS5 that for CHM this is default one so no need to change. Is it different on PC? Just wanted to understand why you put it specifically. The same is for IF - "take more risks" passing - e.g. it is already active when put IF role. Expand
The PIs are locked in, I just typed them in, habit I'm afraid

OCB - shoot less often, take more risks and tackle harder BCB - tackle harder AWB - stay narrower, shoot less often, cross from byline and tackle harder CHM - move into channels, tackle harder IF - stay wider, take more risks, tackle harder SS - tackle harder
Nocrel said: Hello, wonderful job thanks for that ! Maybe a noob question, but this type of compo is playable with a "classical striker"? i see that you succeedeed very well with Haaland so i guess it can work well (on my save I got Esposito and I wonder how can he be succesful on this kind of tactic. Expand
Hello, thank you, I would just stick him in the SS role, you can train the role which would make him familiar much quicker but I would just stick him there and he should still produce the goods. I would avoid a striker role to be honest, testing has proven that the striker role isn't effective, I think the top tactic with a striker is 10/11 points behind the top ones
nimus said: Could you please recommend a few world-class players for each position? I'm asking because I'm curious about which attributes are most important for each specific role. Expand
I would say concentrate on acceleration and pace rather than world class etc..
I can't speak for others but I've had success with these in my saves -
GK - Nikita Haikin, Marco Carnesecchi RB - Festy Ebosele, Andrei Raţiu or Marc Pubill LB - Tyrell Malacia and Saba Kharebashvili CB - Ayden Heaven, Matteo Palma and Tomás Araújo DM/CM - Lucas Bergvall, Carlos Baleba AM - Nico Paz RW - Amad Diallo, Bazou Toure LW - Bradley Barcola, Arnaut Danjuma ST - Julián Álvarez, Emanuel Emegha
These are my suggestions based on the saves I've played, some will disagree and hopefully share alternative options
